Culture Calendar 365 Kickoff with 318 Forum Magazine during the September Downtown Art Walk

Ooh, Applaud, Gape and Gaze at 365 days of Arts & Culture from the ten parishes that make up the Northwest Louisiana Arts District and the Shreveport Regional Arts Council! The region has never had more to celebrate in one calendar year than the music, museums, art, theater, and spoken word that you will find in this season sampler from Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Desoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster Parishes. We hope you will hold on to it throughout 2019-20 and use it as a convenient reference when you are planning your nights or afternoons out on the town. Downtown's arty fun continues with Shreveport DDA’s September Artwalk! Come to artspace and meet your local arts organizations and learn about their upcoming season of arts events! We will have live-painting demonstrations and a spoken word performance, as well as opportunities to shop giftspace and see the Still Photography Exhibition! The Artwalk includes several other locations within easy walking distance. It's a fun night for the whole family and the event is all-ages friendly! Parking is available in multiple free lots and all on-street parking is free at 5 pm.
