Artist/Designer Chip Kidd is bringing his collection of original Batman Covers to artspace this Summer, and with it comes a FIVE WEEK Summer Camp tailored to comic fandom! From Cosplay Creation to Comic and Animation, your “Robin” will be trained in the ways of the BATMAN!

Tuesdays – Fridays THIS SUMMER

Campers may register for ONE DAY, ONE WEEK, or ALL FIVE WEEKS. A WEEK = FOUR DAYS: TUESDAY - Friday.

9:30 AM - Noon
Drop off at 9:00am - Pickup at Noon

The camps are adjusted so that we can serve TWO GROUPS each day,
1. 1st grade - 3rd grade
2. 4th grade - 7th grade.

Prices:
$10 per day / $35 per week
$150 for all five weeks with an "all access pass" to come and go on a daily basis.

We are using the CHIP KIDD Book, “GO!” to inform the summer class curriculum, which will mainly focus on Graphic Design, Illustration, Characterization, and Animation; Additionally, we will offer one week of Cosplay creation. Each week features two artists who will each teach a “one day/standalone/make and take” activity - scaled to each age group - as well as extend the lesson for four days so that students who want to participate for a week would create four separate projects with one artist or see the one project advance through several steps to make a very sophisticated final project for the week.

AND...twice a week an additional segment of CREATIVE MOVEMENT (nananananana...Batman Style!) with the AIRLINE HIGH BLUE ANGELS DANCE COMPANY
